We asked Christian ap Iago to build a substantial timber play fort for our children in the garden and we are absolutely delighted with it. The fort is strong, well designed and the children love to play on it. Although only a garden play area, Christian prepared detailed drawings and gave clear estimates for materials and labour costs. The structure was built to time and budget and his attention to detail and keen eye for quality craftsmanship was key to the success of the project. The Summer House which Christian ap Iago built for us is going to be much used and enjoyed. It has been really exciting to see it through from the plans to the finished building. Christian is a real craftsman who knows about wood and takes thought and care in his work, and the result is something that will last for years, and grow better as it ages and weathers. A Summer House has stood in the same place since Victorian times and this one will carry on the tradition.
